Wild Minds Weekly: 3 Questions To End 2025
Hello friends,
With Christmas around the corner and the year coming to a close, it's a natural time to turn inwards and reflect on how this year has gone, what you've accomplished, and how you want to move forward.
We're always hammering on about defining a vision, because it is crucial to your success. You have to know where you want to go.
But it's equally important to know where you are now, and where you've been - understanding what you did well, and what you could have done better. It will give you both, the confidence in your abilities as you embark on your next adventure, and the awareness to cut out the habits that held you back before.
I'm working my way through Chris Williamson's Annual Review Template, but there's quite a few questions on there and it can take a while. So I've chosen the 3 most potent ones that you can start with:
1. What are the least valuable ways you're spending your time?
For me, definitely getting sucked in by my social-media addiction.
I've decided to start posting on social-media. Unfortunately, that also means I've been spending a lot of time on it (to see what works), and as you know, the feed is a black-hole for your attention and destroys your focus.
For now I've had to mitigate this by setting hard alarms on my phone, but I'm going to take more extreme steps to reduce it once I've got the hang of it a bit more.
On the flipside, what were the most valuable ways you spent your time?
I've got two answers, travelling with my girlfriend and exploring our interest in holistic health and regenerative farming, and the work I'm doing for Wild Minds Community and Little Farma. More of that in 2026.
2. Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give to yourself 12 months ago? (you probably still need to hear this now)
Mine was this: Action produces information.
When we went travelling at the beginning of the year, I was sh*tting myself because we were going to Australia with nothing but a one-way flight, a rough plan, and the knowledge that we wanted to learn more about health, regenerative farming, and figure out what we wanted to do in the future.
And while there were certainly some challenges that naturally come from living in a car, everything fell into place. We made some great friends that share our interest in holistic health and farming, learnt a huge amount, and came away with a clear vision for the life we want to build.
Act before you're ready, but with the end in mind. The path will show itself as long as you take a step in the right direction.
What piece of advice would you give yourself?
3. What would have to happen by the end of next year for you to look back on the year and consider it a success?
I don't have a clear answer yet. Have a think in the next week. I'll do the same.
That's all for this week.
Have a lovely Christmas! And thank you for joining us on this mission to communities where people can live grounded in real food, real relationships, and freedom..
Much love,
Wild Minds Community
